On driving down to Kent yesterday, after 3 or so hours on the road, I stopped for a break at South Mimms services, I had allowed plenty of time, but was tired after a 3.45am start.
I got my coffee an sat down in the quiet services and checked my email, there was a newsletter from Nicky Pattinson where she talks about Spirit, it lifted me, it has been a hard start to the year, losing my dad a couple of days before the end of 2011, and meeting some challenges in the business over the last couple of weeks, some of which were out of my control, I realised the one thing which sets me apart from others together with my business partners, is our belief, spirit and passion for what we are trying to achieve.
Thanks Nicky for reminding me of that, now onwards into the rest of the week with renewed and rejuvenated spirit.
